Reiki is a Japanese word meaning; "Universal Life Force Energy". Grounded in ancient Tibetan Buddhism, the healing system of Reiki was discovered in the mid-1800's by a Japenese Christian Theologian, Dr. Mikao Usui, as he spent 14 years studying the healing power's of Christ. Usui's Principles of Reiki were brought to the United States in the late 1930's. The Usui method has been taught and practiced here and around the world ever since. There are currently over 200,000 Reiki practioners worldwide, I am humbly blessed to be one of those channels of Light. |
